About Headaches
Headaches have plagued mankind since the beginning of time and you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn’t suffered from them at least once. Therefore, you’d think that modern science would have a good handle on most of the typical headache causes, yet this is far from the case. In fact, headaches remain somewhat of a mystery to those who try to treat them as well as those who suffer from them.Complicating the fact that it’s hard to figure out what causes them, there are many different types of headaches each which seemingly have their own triggers. Migraine headaches are the most severe often causing a disruption in your daily activity. Anyone who’s has suffered from these knows how debilitating they can be and how frustrating it is to not be able to treat them properly by avoiding their causes.
Types Of Headaches
Tension headaches are perhaps the most common and, while the name implies that they’re caused by tension, the exact reasons why the headache happens are still unknown. Certainly your posture, stress and perhaps even your eating habits can all contribute to tension in the muscles and, thus, cause your head to ache.Some people suffer from cluster headaches, which simply means that you’ll get a cluster of headaches which might happen at a certain time every day or several times a day for a couple days, a week or maybe even a month and then they mysteriously disappear. The causes? Unknown.
Luckily, for those of us who suffer from these, headache causes don’t need to be nailed down specifically in order for treatments to be effective.
